Demetrio Bellan Obituary
Bellan Jr., Demetrio age 68, Marine Veteran of peace time, beloved husband of Gloria (nee Paliwoda), loving father of Denise (Timothy) Weszelits and Jacqueline Bellan, cherished grandfather of Alana and Joseph Weszelits, dearest son of Marion Bellan, fond brother of Elvira, Reno (Diane) and Gene (Lori) Bellan, brother-in-law of Ronald (Carol) Paliwoda, also survived by nieces and nephews. He was a wonderful man who truly loved life and always seemed to touch the hearts of everyone he knew. His simple style and generous ways should be an inspiration to us all. Funeral Tuesday, 9:45 a.m., from Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 W. Archer Ave. (corner of Natoma), to St. Symphorosa Church, Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle Street, Suite 900, Chicago, IL 60604-1197. Visitation Monday, 2 to 9 p.m. 773-586-7900.

Bellan Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up down the block and I remember your DAD... Mr Bellan well. He was a fun loving and great man!!!!!!!!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as i have a special angel with Jesus too

I was sorry to hear about your dad's illness and death. I worked with him at QOP and he was always there to tell me stories and help out. He was very proud of you two and loved his grandkids.

Denise and Jackie, We are so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was such a wonderful person, and we will all miss him very much. It was always such a joy to visit Stephen's parents and see your dad out and about next door. He always had such a smile on his face, and always took the time to stop and say hi. The kids all loved "Mr. B" too. He will certainly be missed by all that knew him. Take care, and know that we are here if you need anything. Love, Stephen and Vicki Sears.
