Deborah Sheppard Obituary

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Debbie is now in heaven with God and no longer is in any pain. My prayer is that knowing this and being such a strong and wonderful family will help you deal with some of the pain.

I worked with Debbie at Midway and United. Even though we didn't fly together often I loved running into her cause she always had such a welcoming smile. She was a pleasure to be around. I will miss her dearly!

Although Debbie and I hadn't seen each other often enough I always thought about her. I was saddened when I heard she left us so soon. I will always remember the good times we shared. My husband saw her often at work at United. Our prayers are with you at this time.

My sincere sympathy goes out to you and your family during this difficult time. Debbie was such a great friend. She was so special to me and will be forever missed. So many will feel the loss of a wonderful friend.

Debbie had a gift for making friends. Her wonderful spirit and personality attracted people to her. Her acquaintances became clients and clients became true friends. I had the privilege of just that. She was my true friend since meeting her over 20 years ago through Midway Airlines. Since that time, we have shared our lives with each other. My children have even shared in the lives of her children too. Family and parenting dominated our conversations but even the little things we talked about are everlasting. I will cherish all our memories and will miss her immensely.

May each special memory shine in your heart and bring you peace. Our memories of Debbie will live in us forever.

The Gaudry Family sends it's prayers to the Smith and Sheppard families. Whenever God calls one of the younger ones from us, it is hard first to find our voice, and harder to find the right words. In cases like those, I guess a heartfelt Hail Mary, repeated over and over again, is about the best thing going. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

I am saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. She was a wonderful person who touched more people than you could ever imagine. My thoughts are with you all.

Debbie was a very special friend who I grew up with and whose friendship of over 35 years meant so much.

I was very saddened to hear the news yesterday. I knew Debbie from Jazzercise and have been praying for her and all of you during her fight. You all continue to be in my prayers and I wish you strength and healing during this difficult time.
