Deborah Phelan Obituary

Debi hired me at OPTO 15 years ago, and I am still there today. I will never forget the opportunity she gave me, and the fearlessness with which she both led our organization, and concurrently attacked ovarian cancer. 9 years after her passing, I still have fond memories of her and a grateful heart. Hopefully these new, retrospective entries to Debi's guest book all these years later will give her family some comfort and fondness as it pertains to her legacy.

I sure will miss her sitting in my styling chair every five weeks for almost 15 years! Through a million conversations we laughed about life and cried when that wig came along. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a very brave woman, and gave me some very good words of wisdom when my daughter had a scare of possible ovarian cancer after Debi's diagnosis.
