Deanne "Dee" Gentile, one spirited Catholic Irish woman, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2024.

Beloved wife of the late Gerald "Jerry" Gentile, Sr. Cherished mother of Gerald John, Anne (Mike) Kulpaka, Lori Gentile, Jacqueline (Ric) Kunnert, Mary Maureen Gentile, and Jonna (Rick) Svabek. Loving grandmother of Gianna, Natasha, Nicolet, Holli, Jackson, Max, & Ela. Dear daughter of John James Cox and Clara Mae Cox nee Beddow. Dearest sister of the Cox family, Elaine Cox, Joseph J. (Melissa) Cox, the late Mary Cox-Menard, John James (Lilybeth) Cox, James F. Cox, Susan J. (Steve) Cox-Menard, Jennifer L. (Martin) Nadwodney. Fond aunt of many nieces & nephew from the Cox & Gentile family.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. in the Fireside Room at Visitation Catholic Church, 779 S. York Street, Elmhurst, 60126, directly followed by a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.
