Dean Koclanis Obituary
Koclanis, Dean P. dearly beloved husband of Gerri Koclanis, devoted father of Tammy (Paul "Sonny") Cacciatore, loving grandfather of Alyson and Amanda, dear brother of John Koclanis and the late Jeanette (Andy) Solano, and the late James Koclanis, fond brother-in-law of John J. (Mary Lou) Murphy Jr., the late Calista Murphy, the late Clarence Murphy, the late Robert Murphy, the late Donald (Dawn) Murphy, and the late Patrick Murphy, dear uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McKeon Funeral Home, 634 W. 37th St. (at Lowe Ave.). Interment private. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 12th, 11:00 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord Church, 653 W. 37th St. For information call 773-927-0925

Gerry, I don't know if you are still checking messages on this site. I tried to find you a year ago and didn't succeed. I am so sorry to read about Dean. You are in my prayers, even at this late date. I hope by now you have been able to adjust a little.
Bob went to heaven on Feb. 20, 2009. My only comfort is I know where he is and someday we will be together again with Jesus.

Dear Gerri: We are saddened to learn of Dean's illness and his death. God is merciful; it is difficult to accept the absence of the one who was so much a part of your life, but we must welcome, for his sake the relief of eternal rest. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dean was a wonderful man and he will be greatly missed, especially when we pass your house after a White Sox game and he would always be on the front porch.
