My Darling it is now 2003 and I not sure why everything has happen this way. You where there for me when my brothers died and when my mother died, but why would you be taken from me now,I can't understand this I need you to be here, please help me deal with this. Some days I have to talk about you. I tell my friend at work how you used to babysit Jeff and I, and then when we were old enough we babysat for your kids. I tell my friend how I used to write you letters when you were in the army, and you would write me back, and how we both saved those letters. I tell her how I chose you to be my sponsor at confirmation, and how we went to Mellencamp last year. Other days I can't even say your name without breaking down into tears. This Christmas eve was the first time I didn't look forward to it. I went to the Koch party. We all talked, and laughed and tried not show each other how heartbroken we all are. I thought about not going, but I realized there is no place I would rather be than with all of my family. We miss you so much.

As the Holidays approach, how heavy our hearts are. To know that you are in heaven with Todd warms and breaks my heart at the same time. I can picture what a truly blessed holiday you will be having in heaven. That is what life here is to be, to make sure we get to heaven to spend eternity with Todd and You.
