To My Brother,

Help me bear the pain, Lord...

I have been fortunate in that there have been few deaths among those who are close to me. But when I lose someone as dear to me as my brother, I feel as though a part of my very self has been wrenched from my being. There can never be any replacement. There is no final healing of the wound. It continues to cause me pain, even to this moment. But I know I can bear it-because I am not alone in my sorrow. Jesus holds out His hands, ever cupped and ready to receive our pain.

Almighty God, Father of Mercies and giver of all comforts; Deal graciously, we pray thee, with all those who mourn, that, casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your little, big sister, Gwen XOXOXO

My deepest sympathy to the family of Devalve Lee. I never met him but I did talk to him briefly on the phone a few times. Cherri my best friend, I want to say to you and Candace how sorry I was to hear of Dealve Lee passing. I know what he meant to you both.

I was deeply hurt to hear that Dealve Lee is not with us anymore, but I can honestly say I have been truly blessed by his presence. I've always known him to keep smiles on the faces of anyone who was around him and to straighten them out if need be, and I’ve always loved and respected that. Above all I really appreciated him for taking my family and making us his own. I don’t really know what else to say, but I’m sure Dealve Lee would find that perfectly normal since he always thought I never said enough anyway, but I know that Dealve Lee will be missed and loved infinitely. Thank you Dealve Lee for keeping a smile on my silent face,

Love Konahe

To the family of Dealve Lee,

Although I could not be with you to bid him a farewell, I just wanted you guys to know that my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Deavle Lee will be greatly missed by me. He was and is the epitome of what life is all about. Dealve thoroughly enjoy living and it was fun to watching him live. His riots of righteousness, hilarious tirades and many mottos will be definitely being missed. He had catches and twist to every situation, he gave good advice requested or not. So as a tribute to him here’s two pieces of advice that I will always remember.

1. Always be ready, even if you don’t get to go.

2. When asking for money always ask for twice as much as you need because you’ll be lucky to get half.

He was the life of the party. Dealve definitely road his life until the wheels fell off. So please remember when your hearts have healed and time has passed to do the same because that’s what he would have wanted.

Life is for the living,And so we must go on.. trusting God to see us through when those we love have gone. But those who have departed now claim their sweet reward.. exchanging life on earth for life forever with our Lord.To the family and friends, may God strengthen you in your time of sorrow.

Dealve, (Devalee)

I never realized how much I took our

friendship for granted, You were always available for me, I realize I have no other friends as true as you, and now I'll never be able to tell you what You meant to me, I cant get that night before you passed out of my mind, I hadn't seen you so happy in a long time, I know you will be missed by me for a long time, I know you wanted to be here, to see your grandson born, I guess you see him now, I really miss you, I feel alone and no where to be, you were my only (true "male" friend) I know your in a better place, but I know you loved being here, always saying "look, Leslie my mother is watching you" I'm happy you see her now, I'm sad for me, because I don't see you now, and I cant forget your last night alive, You, Me and D'anna, the way it's been for the last few years, I still see you driving her new Hummer, that was a great night, I never saw you smile so much, "God watch over my friend"
