David brought me such insight over the years. Over numerous lunches we would discuss everything from the Art world to philantropy. He was such a committed, dedicated, caring man. I have met few like him in my lifetime.

My thoughts are with you all.

Although I only met David once or twice, as Ben's best friend, I heard him praised emphatically and repeatedly over the years. I wish comfort to all of those who loved David. May his memory be a blessing.

We go back a long way with David and his many involvements. His impact on Lincoln Park and the arts of Chicago will not be forgotten.
