We were very sorry to hear about David. I know he struggled thru the years with his health from many conversations we had. I felt so bad for him but nothing I could do but listen. He was always in my prayers that things would get better for him. He is now in a better place with no worries or pain. I will truly miss him. The Nawara family will be in our prayers. Love, Kim, Vic, Lindsey and Nickole Kallal.

I just wanted to take the time out and say that I am so sorry for the loss of Uncle David. I always have the best memories during the summer especially for the fourth of July. He was always welcoming to me and he always treated me like I belonged and, it felt to me at least that, he made the extra effort to feel like I was one of the family so that I wasn't left out. The last time I saw him was in a hospital and its probably the weirdest thing to remember, but growing up in a hospital it's not that weird and it's something I'll probably remember forever. I remember I was with my dad and we snuck a cheeseburger from McDonalds into his hospital room even if he wasn't supposed to have it. We watched Star Wars with him for a few hours and before we left, he told me "If I don't come out of this, remember that I love you, and to be better than me, and it sucks getting older so, don't get older". I didn't really think about it back then because he was strong and a fighter and he fought a long time after that. But now, I'm going to do my best to make sure that I do my best to be a better person than I was yesterday, everyday. We only have this one life to live and that's it. So....be better, be kind, and love one another like I know he loved everyone else in his own way.
