My earliest memory of David was when he rollerbladed over to our house in 6th grade to bring our daughter a rose when he was "courting" her. She still has the rose and note...he was that special. May the dark clouds part and the sun shine when you remember all those special things about David.

David was so loved by so many people. I had such respect and admiration for his outlook on life. His easy way with people was immediately endearing. He had that rare combination of a strong personality, charisma and charm. It always amazed me to watch him, whether he was performing with his band or just talking to someone on the street. It was truly difficult NOT to like him. Although it had been a while since I had seen him, my memories of good times with him seem so recent. In the years I knew David, he left a permanent mark on me. I know I'm one of many people who feel that way and for that I feel lucky. I'm going to miss him.
