David Geurs Obituary

Geurs, David G. Age 64, of Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Born December 11, 1948 in Corcoran, Minnesota; passed away on July 5, 2013 at Hoffman Estates, Illinois. After growing up in Corcoran, Minnesota, David spent 6 years serving in the US Navy. He returned to Minnesota and received his degree in computer science from Brown Institute. In 1977, David left for Chicago to enjoy a four decade career in the computer industry. He was preceded in death by parents, Francis and Mary Geurs. David is survived by sisters and brothers- in-law, Mary Ann and Steve Gmach; Patti and Dick Rupert; Peter and Katie Leuer, loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and close Illinois friends, Caroline, Sefa and Larry. A gathering was held in Hoffman Estates on July 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, July 13 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 20000 County Rd. 10 in Corcoran, Minnesota. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment following at St. Thomas Cemetery. Gearty-Delmore Plymouth 763-553-1411
