We were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of a vital, wonderful man. At a time when our own family suffered a similar loss, David was a great support to us. We will always treasure his caring and gental compassion, which helped us through a difficult time.

Dear Abby & Irv:

My mother just told me of your great loss. David was a wonderful and caring person and a friend to the entire Johnston family. Even thought 20 years had passed since David and I had last spoke, it was as if time stood still when I spoke to him last October if Florida.

That is a true friend!!

The world is not as nice without him here, but a much better place because he lived!

Our sympathies to the Friedman’s from the Johnston family.
