Darlene O'Reilly Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial is to be held Wednesday March 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Hugh of Grenoble Catholic Church, 135 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, Maryland 20770 with burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery; 13801 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ladies of Charity care of St. Hughes Catholic Church, or, The Sanctuary at Holy Cross Nursing Center.
Arrangements are being handled by Rapp Funeral and Cremation Services.

Aunt Darlene led an exemplary life. Her devotion to her family, both immediate and extended, was so evident whenever one was with her. I will never forget her kindness when my own father died. I will miss her bright smile and warm laugh, and her hugs whenever we were fortunate enough to be able to see each other again. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, and especially my cousins, during this difficult time. With Love, Kathy

I am saddened in your loss. I will miss Darlene, my dear sister-in-law.
I have many fond memories. Darlene`s trips
to ST. Louis and mine to Maryland.
One special visit years ago when the O`Reilly clan came to ST. Louis my children got to meet their Aunt Darlene and their cousins.

I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Darlene. She was my godmother and very special to me. Darlene was a very strong woman and I will never forget her smile and laugh. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Although I didn't know your mom well Justine, I do remember chatting with her and seeing this smiling face at a birthday party or two! Always so happy and having fun! My thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys! May you find some comfort in knowing she's finally at peace. Always here if you need an ear, a shoulder, a friend! Love ya!

It was an honor to know a person so awesome and lovely as Miss Darlene O'Reilly. She was a true Christian and a real blessing in my life. She was the sweetest person and true to her word. She is someone I will truely miss until one day when we will meet again. I pray for the family and for the peace that God offers.

I remember the day that you and Nancy joined my mother and me for a lovely luncheon together many years ago. Both Nancy and I were very proud of our moms that day, and knew that you and my mom enjoyed being with your daughters too. May God's peace be with you now.
