Hi Natasha, Tony, and Jason~
I am so sorry at the loss of your wonderful mother. As you know, we were all neighbors for MANY years! You mother was a beautiful person, and very caring. It was difficult to hear that she passed. She is without pain now. I know she is keeping company with my sweet infant daughter Ava in heaven. Please know that you all are in our hearts, thoughts, and prayers.

I have this wonderful picture and memory of Darinka at 5 years old sitting in a pumpkin patch in Gorna Bistrica. A big smile is on her face and a big bow in her hair. Her mother stands nearby proudly showing off her adorable daughter.
Darinka never lost her winning smile. After coming to the U.S. she grew in beauty, intelligence, love and success as a business woman. She was also a wonderful model of her Slovenian Heritage, fromb being Miss Slovenia to being an active participant in many Slovenia celebrations and events.
Her acknowledgement of her father in Europe some years ago and the way she handled her dear husbands illness and death, and her mothers passing continue to amaze us.
Her own untimely death and suffering fill us with sadness beyond words.
May you be consoled in knowing that she is in a better place now and at peace.
To Natasha and your family, to Jason, to Maria and Nace and all the family we extend our deepest sympathy. We are with you in thoughts and prayers. We will never forget Darinka.
With all our love. Wish we could be with you today.
