Harris, Daniel G. 61, of Indianapolis, IN, formerly Chicago and Libertyville, died March 24, 2010, born January 14, 1949 in Chicago, beloved son of the late Eugene and Dolores (nee Schulten) Harris, loving fiance of Ellen Stranger, fond brother of Gene (Sue) Harris, Diane (James) Donohue and Donna (Jeffry) Murphy, cherished uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran serving in Vietnam, ending his career in the U.S. Navy. Funeral Services 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 27, at Laird Funeral Home, 120 S. Third St., West Dundee. Visitation Saturday, 12:00 noon to time of services. Burial in River Valley Memorial Gardens, West Dundee. 847-836-8770 www.lairdfamilyfuneralservices. com

Dan enjoyed life. He was an ultimate people person. He made everyone around him feel special, and I feel blessed to have been a friend of his. I will miss him.
