I worked with Dan at the Shedd for the past 4 years. Dan was always more than willing to help and lend a guiding hand. It was a pleasure to work with and know him. He will be sorely missed.

I was truly sorry to hear about Dan and hope that with the passing of time you are OK. Dan was one of the many reasons I enjoyed my time at the Aquarium...his passion for his job and the animals he cared for. I was glad that he joined the Operations team and I know that he will be missed by everyone. My deepest sympathies.

Dear Lise:
I don't think I had the pleasure of meeting you, but Dan stood up for my wedding 23 years ago. He must have donea good job, because my wife and I are still together all this time!
I don't need to tell you, but Dan was a wonderful guy. He was as comfortable as an old pair of shoes to be around, a real salt of the earth kind of guy. We lost a great one when we lost him.
I am so sorry for your loss.
