Daniel Barry Obituary

Barry, Daniel Leo 20 years old. Born in Evanston, IL, died on March 14, 2004, after being struck by a car, in Huntington Beach, California. Daniel was known to be of strong character, great courage, loyalty and compassion. He was a great adventurer with a love for the outdoors and the excitement of a challenge. Daniel is survived by his mother, Amy Winburn Barry, father, Mark Barry and beloved sisters Kelly and Bridget, all of Grayslake; his maternal grandmother, Janann Winburn, of Elkhorn, Wisconsin as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service is planned for Monday, March 22 at 2 p.m. in the Independence Grove Forest Preserve Pavillion, Libertyville, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nature Conservancy.
