Davis, Danella "Dan" born September 17, 1924, in Memphis, TN, at her home going to be with her Heavenly Father, on February 24, 2003. Dan leaves behind, Leslie Shelby Davis, her husband of 52 years; her brother Jack Myers; six daughters, Danella Walker of Chicago, Birdie L. (George Earl) Johnson, of Forest Park, OK, Linda Davis, Leslie Ann Porter, Thelma (Keith) Davis and Anita (Stanley) Boyson all of Chicago; she will be missed by her grandchildren, Leslie Harold Walker, George Earl Johnson III, Stanley Boyson Jr. and Danielle Boyson and her great grandchildren, Marquis Vernon Walker, Lyric Lynn Johnson and Barrington Tomlin, she has countless relatives and friends who will call her name fondly now that she has crossed peacefully over the River Jordan. Visitation Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Phillip Neri, 2132 E. 72nd St., Chicago, until time of Mass 11 a.m. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
