Growing up without you was indescribably hard. There were so many questions and times I just craved your advice. But as I get older, had my own kids & go through my own experiences, I´ve realized that you´ve taught and are still teaching me so many things about life and who I am, through reflection, stories I´ve heard, and my remaining memories.
One of my favorite memories though, is when you came to pick me up at daycare and I was in time out for "being mean" to an older child. After talking to my teacher, you asked me what happened and I explained I stuck up for my friend against a bully. Then the bully cried to the teacher about it. You whispered good, asked if I wanted to go to a pool party and we quickly left lol
Over 18 years later, there´s not a day that goes by where I don´t think of you. Especially with your grandkids sharing some traits of yours lol
We all love and miss you. Me & the kids will visit you soon

They say, some get to spend the whole summer in the park, while others only get a few short days.
But those who only get a few short days can succeed in making more friends than those who stay all summer long.
I noticed after you left the park, after your few short days, you proved that to be true.
