Dana Mason Obituary

Dana K. Mason

May 26, 1954 - July 24, 2012

PORTLAND - Dana raced his way through life and death he faced a battle with leukemia and lost at OHSU's Knight Cancer Institute. He was the son of Kenneth and Leona Mason who have both passed also. He was a wonderful husband and father and don't forget grandfather. He leaves behind: Wife Laura, Daughter Shelly, Sister Janet Ray, Brother Dick and grandchildren Taylor and Kyle. He lost his son Curtis in 2000. His hobby was racing Outlaw dirt track cars in the northwest racing was his life. Finally he is reunited with his son and God. Grave side services will be held at Belle Passi Cemetery on Friday July 27, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers there has been a memorial fund set up at any Wells Fargo branch as The Dana Mason Memorial Fund.

Dear Laura and Dana's Family, We are so sorry to hear about Dana's passing. Brother Dan saw the obituary in today's paper and called Dale, Dale was talking to Justin about racing when he got Dan's call. Brother Dale called me, none of us have your phone number Laura, Justin and Dale would like to talk with you. Both Dale and Justin had they known, would have been in attendance at the Services.
