We knew yout dad from the lake. If we were up visiting our Grandfather, Tom Kelleher, in Summit Lake and your dad was up at the house he would have us over for "Water Activities". We are all proud graduates of the Dale Raines School of Watersking. "You'll see, once you get used to the speed it's easy." We all have great memories of the lake and we all agree that the ones with your Dad are among the best. Our sincerest condolences,
Bill Kelleher, Tom, Bob and Kathy Fallon.

Please accept our heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Dr. Dale was a great man, Doctor and friend. He always listened to whatever you had to say, would lean back, close his eyes, and then talk to you. He treated our whole family as if we were his family. There was never a time when he didn't have time for any of us. Our family has been proud to call him our Doctor and our FRIEND for over 60 years. His down to earth personality and wonderful sense of humor will be missed, along with his kind smile, and that hearty laugh! Words cannot express what a truly great man he was.
Sorrowfully Yours,
The Baglieri Family.
Joseph, Caroline, Marietta, Carmie, and Gina.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dr. Raines was our family doctor for many decades. He cared for my grandmother and grandfather (Ethel & Robert Waters) all the way back to the days of Dr. Sittler, and cared for my mom, June Waters Bennett from the time she was a teenager until he retired. Dr. Raines also took care of our extended family, the Bob Waters family, Norman Waters family and Lois Waters Carlson family. When we were children, my mom asked Dr. Raines (for whom my brother Dale is named after) what pediatrician he would recommend to take of us children. He replied, "I'll take care of them." And he did just that. Our family spoke highly of Dr. Raines and he is part of our family memories. We loved him, and are sorry for your loss.

I recall Dr. Raines as a soft spoken and caring Dr. with a smart intellect. He was kind to all who worked at Christ, especially the nursing students. He was eager to share his knowledge . I witnessed the respect that others felt toward him. May he rest in peace.
