Daisy Shaw Obituary

SHAW, Daisy Belle, rose to life on June 11, 1927 in Richmond, Va. She was the youngest of 10 children born to the late William and Daisy Shaw. She entered eternal rest peacefully on February 27, 2008. She leaves to cherish her memory two loving and devoted daughters, Saundra S. Smith (Robert) and Debra P. Harris; one sister, Mary S. Smith; three granddaughters, Deonna Smith Peyton (Darrell), LaShan Robinson (Keith), and LaChae' Oliver; seven great-grandchildren, DaShan, Emane', Christopher, Christina, Hasaan, Keilani, and Dapree; and a host of other relatives and friends. Her remains rest at the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave. Funeral services will be conducted at the St. Paul's Catholic Church at Rennie and Chamberlayne Ave., Richmond, on Saturday, March 1, at 10 a.m. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
