Mr. D.L., you will be truly missed. Your good natured presence was a staple in the community. You were always friendly and everyone knew whether you were peacefully sitting on your porch or not, you were available when needed. May you Rest In Peace!!!

IWASN'T AROUND VERY MUCH WHEN I BECAME AN ADULT,BUT I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED YOU, MY FONDEST MEMORY WAS WHEN YOU WORKED AT THE BAKERY ON 55TH STREET WHEN EVER WE PASSED THAT WAY YOU COULD SMELL THAT BEAUTIFUL AROMA AND I KNEW MY UNCLE D. L. WAS HELPING TO MAKE THE BREAD AND ROLLS THAT FED OUR CITY I LOVE YOU UNCLE D.L AND REGRET THAT I WASN'T AROUND YOU MORE OFTEN,BUT YOU GO on UNCLE AND TAKE YOUR REST WE LOVED YOU BUT GOD LOVED YOU BEST.
