Dear Sam:
Lee and I were shocked and saddened to learn of Cynthia's death. We didn't know her well, but she just always seemed to be the sweetest person whenever we would see her. She had the sweetest, kindest smile. I know she will be deeply missed by her family and most of all by you. She was taken from you much too soon. May you find comfort in your memories and all the wonderful years you had together.
Fondly,
Terri & Lee Chalmers

Dear Sam,
I am so sorry for your loss. Henry and I did not spend much time with you and Cynthia but on the occassions that we did I have wonderful memories of you and Cynthia. I especially remember when you and Cynthia sang a duet together at a party. It was very touching. I know that you have many fond memories to keep Cynthia remembered forever. Love, Susan and Henry

Dear Sam and Family,
Reading this has made me feel so sad and I am truly sorry for your loss. Cynthis was far too young to leave.

I grew up in Melrose Park. In the early 60's, my mom brought me to your apartment in Forest Park weekly for piano lessons. I liked the lessons, but mainly, I loved Mrs. Glickman! Mama and I thought that the two of you were just like the Petries on The Dick Van Dyke Show", only more "haimish".
I didn't become a musician; rather, first a teacher, and then, a lawyer.
I was sad to learn, scanning The Trib on-line today, that "Mrs. Glickman" didn't have many years, but it's apparent that she had a wonderful family. My sincere condolences; I hope it gives you comfort to know that your dear Cynthia is fondly remembered all these years later.
