What a great friend and neighbor to all my family. She was a joy to visit with. We called her the Mayor of the neighborhood. May she rest in peace.

Chris was joy to our family. She lived across the street from me and for many years she joined our family in birthdays, holidays and just swim parties in the back yard. My mother , Jewell Mays and her became very good friends. We will miss her dearly. My husband and Chris spend time speaking of the old days at Quicki (sp) shere she will rest with Bob. And may she rest in peace.

In the 60's and 70's Crystal and her husband Bob would stay at my parents house in Kirkwood, Missouri. They would come to St. Louis to see the sights as well as the local Sigmas. What you saw is what you got with both of them, and you could not want more, for they were both good people. Crystal viewed the Sigmas as her sons. She was very special. She was the voice of reason at times and the voice of criticism when needed. When I told my mom of Crystal's death, she immediately commented, "She was good to you boys, I'm sending a donation to St. Jude's Children Hospital in her name." It would be nice if everyone could have a Crystal Cantrell in their lives. She is missed.

I can only smile when I recall the memories of The Pub and what a wonderful friend Crystal was to me. May you rest in peace and as you did here, keep an eye on Bert, Che and all the Sigmas again in your charge.

Rest in peace my Dear Friend. Watch over all the Sigma's. I won't forget all the good times at The Fountain Room. Tom Cox Fall Class 1970.

Better than my early memories of Crystal at the Fountain Room were when her and Bob would just stop by our house in Bulverde several times a year on a weekend. They would be on their way back to SA from visiting their neice's family at Canyon Lake. They would stop in for a beer and check on our kids. She was a special, fun lady that loved her Sigmas.
