Corrine Eichner Obituary

Eichner, Corrine Bochan 77, peacefully passed away at home on April 27, 2006 after an extended, courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Norman, loving mother of Carolyn Eichner (Kennen Ferguson) and Susan Eichner (Thomas Considine), doting grandmother of Tess Eichner Considine, cherished daughter of the late Tillie (Kritzberg) Bochan and Harry Bochan, adored niece of the late Esther Dolly Kukrtz, dear aunt of Nancy (Lou) Bochan and Louis Bochan and "Second Mother" to many. She will be profoundly missed by the family and friends who surrounded and embraced her, most especially the love of her life, Norman. Services will be held Monday, at 11 a.m. at Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette (1 block north of Old Orchard). Carolyn, Susie and family,

My heart goes out to all of you. As I sit and watch my own mother as she battles to stay alive from Liver Cancer, I can only say that I understand the hardship you had to endure. I am sure your mother was very grateful for your love and devotion in her final days. May peace be with her now and forever. God Bless, Lauri Chez

Dear Suzy and Carolyn,

My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of your mother and I am sure your dad will miss her so much. She was a remarkable woman and an inspiration to all.

I remember all our frantic phone calls back and forth so long ago when we worried about our "chicks" leaving the nest and backpacking Europe. I always enjoyed our conversations and commiserations on our shared health problems. She never complained and always had a great outlook.

Treasure the gifts she has passed on to both of you.

Love and prayers,

Marge Evans
