"Bud" beloved son of the late John and Margaret (nee Slattery) Sullivan, fond brother of Patricia (Jim) Daly and Nora (John) Cooke, loving and kind uncle of Noreen (James) Reilly, John (Kathleen) Daly, Margaret (Dan) Montag, Mary (Kevin) Kilbride, Mike (Marcia), Jack (Laura), Jim (Dawn) Cooke, great-uncle of 22 nieces and nephews, caring friend to many. Former general manager of Midlothian Country Club, past Grand Knight of Madonna Council #1135, K. of C., past president of Hinsdale and Midlothian Chambers of Commerce, treasurer of Queen of Martyrs St. Vincent De Paul Society, former director for the "Bud Sullivan Radio Program", proud member of the Kerry Association and Chicago Gaelic Park. Our prayers are with the entire family of Bud. I often visited him in the usher's room prior to Mass at Queen of Martyrs. His example as a devout Catholic coupled with his ever present warm smile will be missed by fellow parishioners. May God's blessings always shine on you Bud!

My entire family will miss Bud. He was a wonderful next door neighbor and friend to our clan. We always knew Bud was there to look out for our parents, Annie and Harry Brotan, as we grew up and left the nest. When ever we returned home, Bud was there with a cheerful "hello, how's it going!". Even our kids grew up knowing Bud. He was and is truly a blessed man. When my parent's finally moved to a condo, we thought we might have to buy one for Bud too!
Every spring I bought the sweetest cherry tomato plants for my
Dad and Bud to plant. I will now always plant a "Bud" cherry tomato plant in his honor. God bless
