Cornelia Redmond Obituary

Redmond, Cornelia (Connie) age 74, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Friday, March 11, 2005. Faithful member of St. James Church of God in Christ; where she served as a Prayer Warrior and Trustee. Mother Redmond touched many lives as a mentor and friend. She is preceded in death by her parents, Garland and Leola Baker, brothers, James Smith and Otha Baker and sister, Athey Baker. She leaves to mourn her husband, Minister David Remond; son, Elder Willie E. Horton; her siblings, Josephine (Jesse) Cooper, Rev. C.T. (Diane) Baker, Jeff (Gladys) Baker, Garland Baker, Ella Mae Baker, Allen (Annette) Baker, grandchildren, great-grandchild, god daughter, a host of nieces, nephews and loving friends. Family will receive friends Friday, March 18, 2005, at Holy Corinthian M.B. Church, 2301 S. California Ave., Chicago, IL, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m with Pastor Henry Sanders officiating. Interment immediately to follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Hillside, IL. Cedar Park Funeral Home, 12540 S. Halsted, Calumet Park, IL., 60827, 708-388-8605 in charge of arrangements.
