Commander, a member of Retired Naval Officers Association, died in Carmichael, California on Monday, June 25, 2001, following a lengthy illness. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2001, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First Street, Brentwood. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 29, 2001, 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Brentwood.
