Clyde Earl Waldrop, 79, a resident for 50 years of Contra Costa County, California, a U.S. Navy veteran who served for 25 years before his retirement as Lt. Commander, a member of Retired Naval Officers Association, died in Carmichael, California on Monday, June 25, 2001, following a lengthy illness. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 28, 2001, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Brentwood Funeral Home, 839 First Street, Brentwood. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, June 29, 2001, 1 p.m., at the funeral home. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Brentwood. Memorial donations are appreciated to Diabetes Association, 1900 Powell Street, No. 285, Emeryville, CA 94608 or Alzheimers Association, 330 Distel Circle, Suite A, Los Altos, CA 94022. Arrangements entrusted to Brentwood Funeral Home, Brentwood, California.
