WILMINGTON - Clinton K. Gilpatrick, 67, of Wilmington, a Korean War veteran and a retired engineer, died yesterday, Nov. 30, at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Friederika (Kleiner) Gilpatrick.
He was born in Richmond, Maine, on June 24, 1935, a son of the late Kenneth and Eleanor (Wiles) Gilpatrick.
Mr. Gilpatrick served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Reading VFW.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Gilpatrick worked as a custom engineer at IBM for three decades.
Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter, Candace O'Hara of Wilmington; a grandson, Thomas O'Hara of Boston's Brighton; five brothers, Bradley Gilpatrick, Gary Gilpatrick, Keith Gilpatrick, Dale Gilpatrick and Ricky Gilpatrick; and three sisters, Sandra Trask, Jean Stone and Joan Nobel, all residing in Maine.
He was also the brother of the late Norma Johnson.
