Clark Williamson Obituary

Williamson, Clark Richard Born: April 12, 1950, Death: December 3, 2012, Clark studied Improv theater under famed Second City founder Del Close and Food Science at Kendall College. He was a Teamster, a comedian, a chef, a minister of the Universal Life Church, an entrepreneur and the founder and sole member of the Evanston Glacial Early Warning Society which required him to travel to the ends of a convenient dock every June 22nd and scan northwards to espy the presence or lack thereof of impending glaciation and to present that report, immediately thereafter, to the full membership of the society. The son of Susan E. Mills and the late Donald P. Williamson; beloved twisted husband of Judith Perlman; warped loving father of Dara and the late Rebecah; brother to Kevin (Debbie) and Bonnie (the late Dan Kinghorn) Anderson; brother-in-law to Edward (Julie) Perlman and Janice (John) Ziv; and fond wacko uncle of Emily and Ethan Anderson, Terah and John Ziv, and Shawna and Lucas Perlman. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, December 17, 2012 at the Ridgeville Park District Field House, 908 Seward Road, Evanston, Illinois. Losing Clark takes a completely creative and original soul from us all. He was a wonderful friend, with a generous heart. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I was so very saddened to hear about Clark's passing. We used to hang out at Andy Lischett's house in Wheeling when we were kids. He was always "on" and simply one of a kind. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Judy and Dara... I am so sorry for your loss. Clark was a unique person. My best memory of Clark was when he was in "The Pajama Game" at Wheeling High School. He was awesome. He was funny, smart as a whip. I can't even find the words to express my sorrow for your loss.
