My heart is with all of the family. Uncle Clar was a great inspiration to me. Even though there were a lot of miles between us and we did not talk very often he was very much a father figure to me. I admired his values and love he had for his family. He always made me feel so special. He was a brother in-law and true friend to Dad. I will focus many of my memories of the two of them from the fine stories that Uncle Clar shared with me. One that comes to my memory is the time that Dad & Uncle Clar went fishing (one of many times)at Lake Michigan and Uncle Clar would sneak off, dive in the water and pull on Dad's fishing line making him think that he had the great white on his line, and he would do this many times in one evenig. My memories will be the greatest, thanks to him, for sharing them with me.
With all my love to you Aunt Alice, Phylis, Karen, Debbie and your families.
