Muldowney, Clare P. (nee Sexton), 74, dear daughter of the late Michael J., the late Mae (Obrien), and the late Mary J. (Cullen), beloved wife of James for 50 years, devoted mother of Mary (Ben) Jarratt, Michael (Daniela), Meg Ronayne, Maureen Orth, and the late Margaret Mary, loving grandmother of Brigid, Caitlin, Patrick Quinn, and Colin Jarratt, Michael James, Patrick, and Liam Muldowney, Connor and Ashley Orth, Sheamus and Ryan Ronayne, loving sister of Maureen (the late Lloyd) Bazel, fond sister-in-law of the late Jack and Peggy, Frank, Evelyn (the late Patrick) Muldowney, Mary (Tom) Mitoraj, loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, she was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Visitation at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. (corner of Northwest Highway/Rt 14 and Rand Road), Des Plaines, IL, Friday, 3:00 to 9:00 p.m. Prayers Saturday 9:15 a.m. from chapel. Funeral Mass Saturday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 794 Pearson St., Des Plaines, IL 60016. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Clare may be made to the Carmellte Monastery, 1101 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL or to Loretto Convent, PO Box 508, Wheaton, IL 60189-0508. Dear Jim, Mary, Michael, Meg and Maureen:
I just found out about Clare's passing. Please accept our deepest sympathies on the loss of a beloved wife and caring mother and grandmother. She was a special lady who made the Burke's feel at home the moment we moved next door. She will never be forgotten for her hospitality and generousity. She has left a legacy of giving and loving.
