As my wife and I returned from our Mexico trip the other day, we passed a bridge over the Missouri River south of Alton. I told her that Chris, Bob, and I had ridden across that bridge behind a steam engine...in real comfort.

Bob and I would have been at his wake, because he was special to us...but I was gone, and Bob didn't know about it. We spent many hours with Chris traveling to and from many meetings. We miss him deeply already. He was a good friend. Lou Haase

Hello Bob,

I am so sorry to hear about Chris. He was a wonderful member and a valued addition to our Board. His help and especially his railroad knowledge will be greatly missed. I will make sure that the membership is notified.

I know that it is hard to lose a parent because they're supposed to be there forever. Right now it hurts, but know that your memories of him will help get you through this sorrowful time.

Sincerely,

Gene Severa
