Christopher Hamb Obituary

Hamb, Christopher Paul Was born February 7, 1979, to Katrina J. Hamb and Paul S. Hamb in Chicago, Illinois. He decided to attend the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the Fall of 1997. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 2002 and his Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the Graduate School of Library and Information Science in 2004. Chris was called home on June 14, 2018. One of his many accomplishments was Assistant Professor of the Engineering Library. Chris leaves behind his father, Paul Hamb (Helen); his fiancée, Summer; his daughter, Alex; his brother, Marc Cook; one niece, Hannna; two nephews, Isaiah and Brayden, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
