Featherstone, Cheryl Ann (nee Pickett) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, niece and friend. On Tuesday afternoon, May 23, 2017 Cheryl was called Home surrounded by her loving family at Amita Health Adventist Medical Center, Hinsdale at the age of 56 years. Born in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Paul Pickett and the late Glada (nee Kirby) Pickett. Devoted mother of Lindsey (Jeff) Langan, John (Ashley) Featherstone and Benjamin Featherstone; beloved grandmother of Sean and Ryan Langan; treasured lifelong partner and friend of Jack Featherstone; loving niece of Bernice (the late Dave) Knutson; dear sister of Glenda (Dave) Klaas, Paul (Alexa) Pickett and Gary Pickett; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also mourn her passing. Preceded in death by her mother, Glada and uncle, Dave. Cheryl dearly loved her faith, her family and her friends. She was a 1978 Graduate of Reavis High School, Burbank and a long time resident of Sheridan, IL. Her passion for life and never ending quest for learning took her down the avenues of Real Estate, Food Service Industry, Bar Tending, Hospitality Management, Health Care and most recently she was a Case Manager for IDHS of Joliet.She will be dearly missed by all those whose lives she touched.
