Dear Swarzman Family,
Lotte, as I called her, and I became friends the moment we met in 1997, when I became a neighbor of hers. Since then, we have shared much laughter and enjoyed serious discussions, always bi-lingual. I felt honored to be included in her family events and was quite impressed that Lotte still gave a speech on her 100th birthday party. Fond memories and her unique sayings will stay with me.
My heartfelt condolences to you,
Annegret

Dearest Swarzman family,
My condolences to you. I have fond memories living next door on Laurel Avenue and our wonderful relationship as neighbors. My Mother, Blossom, and your Mother would always exchange homemade foods at the Jewish New Year and I remember your Mom bringing over a delicious fruit pie. My Mom would bring a jar of herring to her. Your Mom shared her blueberry dessert recipe and I make it often and think of her. Wonderful recollections.
