Charles Rice Obituary
Age 65 passed away unexpectedly Thursday February 17, 2022, at his residence in Joliet, formerly of Bolingbrook. Charles loved to fish, loved to go hiking at Starved Rock and loved trains of all types. He worked at Pepperidge Farm in Downers Grove for 44 years as a mixer and mechanic. He was a professional clown, and a balloon artist. He is survived by his loving sons Keith (Maridel) Rice, and Anthony Rice; mother Rosemary (the late Charles) Rice; siblings Chris Rice, Rob Rice, Danny (the late Debbie) Rice, and Nicole (Rick) Davis; grandchildren Madison, Keith Jr., and Charlie Rice; great grandchild Zakhi, also numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday from 3 to 8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, Il 60544. Funeral Friday February 25, 2022, family and friends will meet at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 320 S. Washington St., Park Ridge, IL 60068 for a 12:30 pm Mass. Chuck was a good friend when we were growing up. He had his hands full being the oldest of the kids in his family. He was a good gentle guy. My condolences to the entire Rice family

We are sorry to hear of Chuck's passing, he was a really good guy. He taught me how to mix bread at the Farm many years ago. He was a hard worker every where he went. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
