Hi Neighbor!

This was our greeting - we were neighbors and friends. I am so very sorry, shocked and sad to hear of Charlie's passing. He was one of the kindest people I've ever met. I'm really sad I can't be there today & tomorrow! The world has lost a precious gem - he will be deeply missed by many people!

Every so often a special person comes into your life. For us, that was Charlie. Over the years we have come to love him as the son we never had. We shared together the joys and sorrows of both our families. We will miss him.

Dear Charlie & Kiyo,

We met only one year ago, and I genuinely enjoyed the times we spent together. Your warm and friendly smile, and easy-going personality will be dearly missed.

I feel fortunate to have met you, and called you a friend.

I will always remember our many wonderful adventures (even our not-so-wonderful adventures were definitely something to talk about). Whenever you were around there was always laughter. That's how I will remember you: Laughing. I will always love you and miss you, Charlie. You were more than a friend to me, you were my family.

You made us laugh, we counted on you for the best in friendship, you made every day an adventure. We can't imagine not having you on the other end of a cell telphone. You and Kiyo became our best friends and we can't imagine life without you...We love you both... you will always be in our hearts and on our mind. Words cannot express our loss.
