Peck, Charles A. 70, of Chicago, died January 23, 2004, at the Fair Oaks Health Care Center in South Beloit of Alzheimer's Disease. He was born January 4, 1934, in Whitewater, WI, to Jean and Clarence Peck. While at Whitewater College High School, Charles was the organist for the Episcopal Church and occasionally was the sole performer in piano recitals that were sponsored by the Congregational Women. In 1957, he graduated from the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. The remainder of his life was spent in Chicago, where he played classical and jazz piano, wrote software for American Bakeries, Velsicol Chemical, and Tootsie Roll, and was an animal benefactor. He is survived by his twin brother, David Peck of Edgerton, WI, two sisters, Patricia (Mark) Bromley of Platteville, WI and Kaaren (Stephen) Nowicki of Atlanta, GA, and a niece and nephews.
