McHenry, Charles William Marek age 76, of McHenry, at rest May 22, 2006, beloved husband of Patricia (nee Vachon) Marek, loving father of William C. (Remedios) Marek of Addison, Alison (Joseph) Prokopczyk of Crystal Lake, Valerie (Michael) Trendell of Geneva, cherished grandfather of Ritchie and Rainier Flores, Nicole, Krista and Megan Prokopczyk, Laura, Billy and Joey Trendell, dear brother of Jacqueline Kliest of California, fond uncle to several nieces and nephews; and proud owner of his beloved dog Kashi. Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Charlotte Kulik. A Private Mass was held at The Church of Holy Apostles. Interment at Transfiguration Cemetery, Wauconda. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the George R. Justen & Son Funeral Home, 3519 W. Elm St., McHenry, IL.
