Kraut, Charles age 88, beloved husband for 64 years of Pearl (nee Perlman), devoted father of Dr. Jerome (Marcia), Janice Alpert (Harvey Cohen) and Susan Kraut, loving grandfather of Dr. Joshua and Michael Alpert, Sandy Kraut Fleischer (Evan) and David Kraut, great-grandfather of Makayla Alpert and Isaac Fleischer, cherished brother of the late Harriet Cahnmann and Natalie Trock Roussman and brother-in-law to Harriet Rudenberg (late Howard), fond uncle to many and trusted Lawyer to Countless. Service Wednesday, 1 p.m., at The Weinstein Funeral Home North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd. (one block north of Old Orchard). Interment Anshe Misrach Cemetery Waldheim in Forest Park.
