My condolences to Charlie's family. We have been friends since 10 days after Charlie stopped drinking. His date is 5/03/84 and mine is 5/13/84. We have been good friends ever since. He has been a shining light to so many and I am lucky to have been one of those.

Dear Chuck,
In the end its not about pain and disappointment, but the thrills, chills and joy you have given to others. I hope this finds you in "a garden all wet with rain," among your loved ones who have gone before you.
Love your brother Kevin and Loraine Knoch, Brownsville, Texas

My sincere condolences to Charley's family.
Charley was wonderful to my brother Van who passed away 3 years ago. Charley went to the home where Van was and administered Holy Communion to him and visited with him. The Carmel team remains a team to this day. I talked to Charley when I was in Chicago to visit Van in his last days and Charley was so kind and gracious to me at that time.
My prayers are with all of you and we are guaranteed that Charley is in a special place in heaven.
