Gach, Charles J. age 49, beloved husband of Margaret (nee Conners), loving father of Chuck Jr., devoted son of the late Charles and Delores Gach, loving brother of Debbie (Mike) Williams, dear son-in-law of John and Ida Conners and brother-in-law of John (Margie), Mary (Doug) Wyatt, Cathy (Wally) Dickman, Pam (Glenn) Florence, Bernie (Jay), Ida (the late Jim Nelson) Ludwig and Fred, dearest nephew of Mildred, Esther, Eleanor, Berny, Sussie and many others, a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and a great-grandson of Alice (the late John) Conners. A retired 29 year employee of the Chicago Suntimes, a member of the pressmans union, the canaryville Veterans Assoc., the Flags Club. A longtime Coach of the Canaryville Little League and a "Huge" White Sox Fan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Indiana University-Amyloid Research, c/o Dr. Merrill Benson, Dept. of Pathology, 635 Barnhill Dr., Indianapolis, IN, 46202. Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m., from Thomas McInerney's Sons Funeral Home, 4635 S. Wallace St. (at McInerney corners), to St. Gabriel Church for Mass of the Resurrection at 10 a.m. Visitation Friday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Interment St. Casimir Cemetery, 773-268-0703.

Dad, I would just like to say I will miss you, but I know you are no longer suffering and I am grateful for that. I know you will be watching over me. So I hope you can lead the White Sox to a world series and I know we will both be so happy for that. So I love you so much.

Chuck, You were always very special to all of us on the Magic Softball Team. Especially Hilde, Crok, Orca and myself. But more so as a friend who touched us deeply! Our prayers and condolences are with the Gach Family.
