Charles (known as Chuck to me) was a very kind man. He worked at The Fairfield Inn in Tinley Park. I am the grandaughter of Terry and Vera O'Sullivan. Every 6 months (about) my brother, grandma, and granpa would go to the Fairfield Inn. He was very nice of him to give my brother and I candy and little stuffed animals all the time we went there. He also gave my grandpa and grandma boxes of chocolate. The last time we went there I left my stuffed animal monkey there that i have had since I was 6 (which I'm 12 now) my grandma called him and told him that I have let it there. Later that day I recieved my monkey with candies again. I tried to call him and thank him but they said he was not there. Today my grandma called me and told me Chuck passed away the day he sent me my monkey. I was very upset. He was a very nice, kind, and generous man. I'm sure my family will never forget him. Rest in peace Chuck we all love you.

My children and I give the deepest condolences to Chuck's family. My kids new him better than me; but I've met him plenty of times at Fairfield Inn, because my parents would fly in from Arizona and stay at The Fairfield Inn. He was always soooooo nice to my parents, my kids, and myself. He was a great man.

CHARLIE WAS A GUEST AT MY WEDDING. I HAVE SOME VERY NICE PICTURES OF HIM AND I DOING THIS DANCE WITH THE NAPKINS FROM THE TABLES. HE HAD A GOOD TIME HE WAS AT THE TABLE WITH ALL THE WOMEN. HE DIDNT SEEM TO MIND IT. WE HAD VERY GOOD TIMES WITH OUR CHRISTMAS PARTIES AND RETIREMENT PARTIES. THE FRONT END CREW THERE WAS TRULY FAMILY. MRS DUGGAN AND FAMILY I WILL TRULY MISS HIM. I AM SORRY WE LOST TOUCH OVER THE YEARS. WHEN I THINK OF HIM I WILL ALWAYS HAVE A SMILE ON MY FACE. WHEN HE WAS AROUND THERE WAS NO SUCH THING AS A BAD DAY.

I can't remember feeling so startled and saddened at the same time. I met Chuckie in 1st grade and we remained friends all the way through senior year at St. Francis de Sales. When I think of him, I can picture his warm friendly smile. He was always great friend and a very patient listener. I'm so sorry we lost touch. Please accept my deepest condolences at this very sad time.
