Charles Adametz Obituary
Adametz, Charles T. "Chuck" age 85, longtime Homewood resident formerly of Roseland. A retired Window Trimmer, he had designed window displays for shoe stores throughout the Chicagoland area. Longtime bartender for Surma's and the Roseland Moose Lodge. A Corporal in the US Army Air Corps during WWII he had served as a Radio Mechanic with the 24th Bomb Squadron/6th Bomber Group. Father of Kathy (Robert) Kolosh, Robert (Helen) Adametz, and the late Carol (George DeWitt) Adametz. former husband of Frances E. (nee Ryan). Graveside services will be held Tuesday, June 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. For further information please call Panozzo Bros.
