Catherine Lancaster Obituary

Lancaster, Catherine Ann (nee Grimes) 88, of Flossmoor passed June 26, 2013. She is survived by her son, Charles; daughter, Ruth (Karl Almquist); granddaughters, Lauren Dykstra (Vince), Jacqlyn; grandson, Thomas; and great-granddaughter, Allison Dykstra. Preceded in death by her husband, George. Catherine was a RN OR nurse and manager at Christ Hospital for over 20 years. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Clements Episcopal Church, 15245 South Loomis Street, Harvey, IL, on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Clements Food Pantry, P.O. Box 2307 Harvey, IL 60426. Info, Cremation Society of Illinois, 800-622-8358.

Catherine will always be remembered with lots of love and respect. She was a strong and giving person and always thought of others. My deepest condolences and praying that she rests in eternal peace. She will be deeply missed.
