Today would be Cassandra's 26th birthday. It's so sad to not be able to celebrate it with her.



When I was at UIC, Cassandra was definetly one of my dearest friends and I miss her terribly. I'm so sorry that we've all lost someone who was so special.

I offer my deepest simpathies to your family. I was a contemporary of Cassandra's. I met her my freshman year when she was still at Merrilac but would attend music class at Loyola. I will never forget her smile and her positivity.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Cassandra. The few times I had the pleasure of being in her company with mutual friends will always be remembered in my heart. She was such an intelligent and upbeat woman.

There are no words to decribe the feeling that Im feeling today. To come back from the west coast and find out that caasandera is not with us anymore.May god be with her forever and with the family.

Though I only knew Cassandra briefly, her charm and beauty have long lingered in my thoughts (her face could’ve launched ten-thousand ships). The world is far less perfect without her graceful presence.

My condolences to Cassandra's family and friends. I met her acquaintance in HS and struck up a friendship but had lost touch after graduation. I have never forgotten about her. She is a hard one to forget. She was the sweetest person in the world, surely touched so many ppl's lives. I know she did mine. It's a sad and difficult loss. She will be missed deeply.

It is with shock, disbelief and profound sorrow that I try to comprehend Cassandra's passing. I am so very sorry for the pain you have experienced and for the pain that you will always feel due to her absence on earth. I had the pleasure of working with Cassandra at Cite back in 1999 - 2000 and she made my days brighter with her laughter, silliness and her sincerity. She always made me feel that I was special - and it was SHE who was special! She was a hard worker and a kind, gentle soul. I am so very sorry. I wish I could take away the pain. Irene, Brendan, Angie (Monroe), Isos, Evangeline and Mama Mary. I pray that God will be ever present to help to ease your pain. I wish I would have known earlier, for I would have come in person to pay my respects. She is loved, as is your entire family. God be with you.

Cassandra was one of my close friends at Loyola Academy and it’s hard knowing that she is gone. She was truly an angel and I have faith in that she is in a better place. My thoughts are with her family in this time of sorrow. She will be missed.

I didn't know Cassandra , but I would like to express my deepest sympathy to her family & friends. I actually met her probably 8 or 10 years ago when she came to eat with her aunt Evangeline, her mother & siblings to our restaurant. I thought she was beautiful & had to laugh when she told her aunt she wanted her to teach her all about fashion. I have a 19 year old son & can't even imagine experiencing this kind of tragedy. There is one thing I'm sure of... She's an angel watching over all her loved ones.

I met Cassandra our freshman year at Marillac. We remained friends all throughout high school and unfortuantely lost touch after. I will always remember spending time with her on the weekends, talking during band practice when we weren't supposed to and having her ask out boys for me because I was too shy. Cassandra was never shy. I've never met anyone with as much confidence as her. She had a beautiful smile, a contagious laugh and the ability to find the good in everyone. She always made me feel special and happy when I was with her. She truly was a unique and wonderful person. She was one of my closest friends in high school. I wish that we had spent more time together after we graduated and continued the wonderful friendship we had. She has now taught me to cherish the friends I have in my life and reconnect with the ones I've lost touch with. I loved her like a sister and miss her very, very much. Irene, Brendan, Kevin and Alexander, you will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Although I had only first met Cassandra this past summer, she quickly became one of my closest friends. She was nothing short of magnetic with her uncontainable laughter and passion for life. She was always able to find the best in people and had the unwavering ability to forgive. She had so much to teach us all. People are truly better for having known her.

My wife Patricia was a teacher of Cassandra and loved her like a sister. I met Cassandra a couple of times and was deeply impressed by her warmth and beauty as a person. We are devastated by her loss. We convey our profound sympathy and love in this difficult time.

I had the pleasure of knowing Cassandra when she was a student at Loyola Academy. We also traveled together during a Loyola band trip to Europe. I am deeply saddened by her death but know she is finding peace and joy with the angels.
