Jinx & family, we are sorry to hear Cas has died. Even though he lived a long life, it´s never long enough when it ends. It was always a pleasant encounter when we would see him around the neighborhood. And way back when our kids played baseball at Potawatomi Park. He will be missed by many.

Dear Jinx,
So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear husband. Please remember that this not a funeral but a Home going. Cas, was an outstanding faculty member. He loved his students and his family. I retired in 1995 as VP of faculty and instruction at Truman College and Cas was a dear colleague and friend. I am reminded of the passage in Scripture: " I fought the good fight I have finished the race and I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4: 7.
Our prayers that God will sustain you and your family in the days ahead.
John Gianopulos and family.

Cas and I were in the 1950 entering class of new beginning Jesuits at Milford, Ohio. Our religious lives paralleled for almost a decade until we each were assigned to different paths in the Society of Jesus. He was always friendly, unassuming, and enjoyable to be with. After all these decades he will still be missed but with warm memories of earlier times.
