Janik, Casey Suddenly, of Colton, California, formerly of Chicago, IL, passed away February 16, 2013. Loving son of Regina (Gus) Wojcik and the late Julian Janik; Loving father of Jason (Vanessa) Janik; Dear grandfather of Stephan and Travis Janik; cherished brother of Henry (Georgianna) Janik, and Helen (Tom, Ret. CFD) Hughes; devoted nephew of Julia ("Ciocia") Szyler; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Former owner of Casey's Tavern on Blackhawk Street in Chicago. Army veteran, 101st Airborne Division. Family and friends will meet at St, Constance Church, 5843 W. Strong St., Chicago, IL on Saturday, March 9th at 9:30AM for a Mass of Christian burial at 10AM. Interment to follow at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Niles, IL. For further information, please call 773-454-6017.

What a beautiful generous man. I will miss his smile.
He indroduced me to all his Polish food. Very sad to lose such a wonderful man. Never met his family but I know they meant the world to him.
